Socotra Unseen is built around Socotri guides, drivers and camp crew who grew up on the routes we travel.
Who we are
Hidden adventures, thoughtfully led
We run a small number of routes each season so that the same team can travel every one of them properly: the same drivers, the same cooks, the same guides.
That continuity is what lets us keep three guests per vehicle, cook three fresh meals a day in the field and hold camps in places that stay quiet after dark.
What matters to us
Four commitments we do not trade away
Small groups
A maximum of three guests per 4x4, so every traveller has a window seat and the group stays quiet enough to hear the place.
Socotri leadership
An English-speaking Socotri expedition guide from arrival to departure, with specialist local guides and rangers where the route requires them.
Camps of our own
Three private Socotra Unseen camps, set away from the island's busiest shared camping areas, with all setup and packing handled by our crew.
Nothing staged
Wildlife, weather and sea conditions decide parts of every itinerary. We say so plainly rather than promising what the island cannot.
